A Bit About Us

DG Sons Trucking LTD is a proudly Canadian🍁, family-owned and operated trucking company established in 2019 by Darcy Smith. Started with just a single truck providing power-only services and based out of his driveway in Oxford, NS.  With the dedication of our customer service throughout the Atlantic Seafood Industry and the export of Prince Edward Island Potatoes, along with many Atlantic province-based companies, we were able to expand and move to our current head office and now operate a fleet of 25 + late model trucks, well-maintained tractors as well as 30+ tandem and tridem temperature-controlled 53-foot units.   
The majority of maintenance and repairs are conducted in-house by our skilled red-seal mechanics, with our main focus on maintaining the fleet in optimal condition. Regular servicing and preventive maintenance help ensure the fleet remains on schedule and upholds our drivers' safety.
Our organization is dedicated to delivering superior transportation of goods. Our commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction is our goal, which is why our equipment is outfitted with advanced satellite technology for efficient dispatch and tracking for our customers.  
We believe it is our environmental responsibility to be as green as we can be; we currently burn 15% less diesel than the national average, reducing our carbon footprint. 
With the expansion of our customer base, we have committed ourselves to meeting our clients' needs by becoming a bonded US carrier and joining the Air Cargo Security Program to offer seamless services.
